The Christmas tree farm in Hyvinkää is a pick-your-own farm where beautiful, cultivated Christmas trees are grown. When you select and cut down the tree you find most beautiful, you are guaranteed a fresh spruce to take home with a known Finnish origin. You can choose a grown Christmas tree and cut it down yourself if you wish.

Prices: Trees up to 2.5 m cost €25, €40, or €50, depending on the tree. Spruces between 2.5 and 4 m are priced separately. Fresh, pre-cut spruces are also available, starting at €15 each, including Serbian spruces and other fir varieties. There are also many 1.5-2 m spruces available in the plantation

Cars can be driven right next to the house where the farm begins. Trees can be netted for free upon request. Saws are available for loan from the farmer.

Weather-appropriate winter gear is recommended for the visit; the yard and parts of the plantation are lit after 4 p.m. Ask about home delivery options!

Christmas Tree Event Weekends for the Whole Family in 2024 Sat-Sun, Dec 7-8 from 10 am to 4 pm Sat-Sun, Dec 14-15 from 10 am to 8 pm Sat-Mon, Dec 21-23 from 10 am to 8 pm

On Saturday, December 7, Santa Claus will be present from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

During the festive fir tree hunting trip, light refreshments will be available, and you're welcome to bring your own snacks. There will also be a loggia and a barbecue hut available for grilling sausages.

Christmas trees are also available for sale from the yard and farm: Mon, Dec 9 - Fri, Dec 13 from 2 pm to 6 pm Mon, Dec 16 - Fri, Dec 20 from 12 pm to 7 pm Christmas Eve, Dec 24 from 9 am to 12 pm
